2023 RATE SCHEDULE OF DEUTSCH DOMESTIC WATER COMPANY (DDWC)
A Special Purpose Water Carrier Company that leases water to Tap Holders for residential purposes under decrees owned by the DDWC, that are applicable and allocable on a pro-rata basis to each Tap Holder, subject to resource availability, system capacities, regulatory requirements, and the terms and conditions set forth herein.
R-1 - Base Residential ~ 10,000 gallons per month
$56.00 per tap per month, plus
$32.00 per 1,000 gallons over 10,000

R-2 - Large Residential ~ 20,000 gallons per month
$56.00 per tap per month, plus
$16.00 per 1,000 gallons over 10,000
$32.00 per 1,000 gallons over 20,000

C-1 - Commercial ~ 20,000 gallons per month
$80.00 per tap per month, plus
$16.00 per 1,000 gallons over 10,000
$32.00 per 1,000 gallons over 20,000
Rates & Fees
Meter Installation Fees
DDWC will be installing meters on all its Tap Holder service connections, that don't already have meters installed, and requiring the subject Tap Holders to pay the DDWC for basic installation packages for each connection to the water line.
The subject Tap Holders will also be charged for any extra parts required as well as for labor, mileage, and equipment costs.
Meter Installation Package: $950/ea
Labor Charge: $80.00/hr
Mileage Charge: $0.80/mile
Administrative Fees
Certificate Transfer ~ $170.00 / each

Lost Certificate Replacement ~ $170.00 / each

Late Payment Fee ~ $10.00 per month per tap

Each tap shall be limited to servicing one household.

Water tap certificates must be issued in same name as the property owner to which the tap is assigned.

DDWC will also impose a late charge of 1.5% per month on any unpaid balance over 60 days and may elect to disconnect service, after which payment in full plus a $300 reconnection fee will be required to restore service.

In the event a water tap is shut off for Non Payment for a period of 1 year or more, DDWC shall be entitle to reclaim the tap.

All costs DDWC incurs for collecting on past due accounts will be added to subject tap holder accounts.

All uninstalled taps shall be charged a minimum monthly charge.
Special Conditions
To achieve better pro-rata allocations of limited water resources during drought conditions, DDWC has developed a Drought Management plan that includes water efficiency and conservation measures that may impact allocations and rate schedules.
